d. Treating Anxiety and Phobia (EMDR Level 1)
e. Supervision in Clinical Traumatology:
– Min. of 20 hours of direct supervision with clients having a trauma diagnosis (Individual or triadic) – PSYCHOTRAUMATOLOGY EVALUATION REPORT
– 100 hours of direct fieldwork in trauma (one-to-one, group, or family therapy)
a. Treating Sexual Trauma
b. Grief & Loss
c. Treatment and Intervention of Domestic Violence
d. Treatment of Suicide: Prevention/Postvention (PFA)
e. Treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (EMDR Level 2)
f. The HEART Model: An Integrated Faith-based and Psychological Approach to Heal from Trauma and Produce Balance in the Mind, Body, and Spirit.
You can attend ANY training or complete the training/workshop at TIPS before applying for the GCAT membership and certification. Anyone is welcome to take the training at any level, provided they have at least a Bachelor’s degree for Levels 1 to 3 and are currently pursuing a Master’s degree for Levels 4 to 5 in any allied medical or behavioral science field. YET certifying as a Clinical Traumatologist above is mostly reserved for those in the mental health field with a license, education (master’s), and work in psychology, counseling, or a related background (RPsy, RGC).
TIPS is accredited to facilitate the training/workshop of GCAT, yet you need to be a member and send your credentials and training certificates to Green Cross Academy of Traumatology, VA, USA, for you to be officially certified. The Green Cross Academy of Traumatology, VA, USA has the only authority to give the TRAUMATOLOGIST CERTIFICATIONS.
