Juna Odessa M. Ortega, PhDc, RPsy, CCT, CIT, CSM, CCI is a licensed psychologist and a certified clinical traumatologist through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology (GCAT) and the Traumatology Institute and Psychological Services (TIPS).

She is certified in Illness Trauma, Stress Management, and Crisis Intervention by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

Juna is currently undertaking trainings with the Traumatology Institute and Psychological Services (TIPS), Traumatology Institute of Canada, and the American Psychosocial Oncology Society. She completed certificate programs in Interprofessional Psychosocial Oncology at the de Souza Institute (Canada), and in Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the Beck Institute.

A member of the International Society for Trauma Stress Studies, Juna has clinical research interests in medical trauma. Her work centers on clinical and health psychology, with a focus on child trauma and chronic illness.
